| Abstract | Evaluates efficacy and potential deleterious effects of induced regurgitation by black-browed and grey-headed albatross chicks at colonies on Bird Island, South Georgia during 2004-06 breeding seasons. Technique was both non-invasive and rapid, had no effect on subsequent survival or fledging mass, samples obtained were large, and compared with handling of adults did not entail desertion risk. |
