Abstract By analogy with landscapes of the Antarctic, palaeolandscapes of ice deserts are described for all principal glacial epochs on the Earth. The following palaeolandsapes have been identified: of central parts of the ice domes with particularly cold climate: of ice dome slopes with severe drainage (gravity) winds which form minor erosion ridges; and of ice ablation and discharge with cyclonic climate and diverse relief.
