| Abstract | In addition to reports from CCAMLR, SCAR, COMNAP, CEP, International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and other organizations, the Consultative Meeting discussions included designation and management plans for Antarctic Specially Protected Areas (ASPAs) at Ross Island, Haswell Island, Canada Glacier, Cierva Point on Danco Coast, Clark Peninsula on Budd Coast, Edmondson Point in Ross Sea, Part-Martin in Terre Adelie, and Hawker Island in Vestfold Hills; Antarctic Specially Managed Area (ASMA) at Admiralty Bay on King George Island; and Historic Site (AHSM) at Rocher du Debarquement in Terre Adelie. Other topics covered were administrative matters relating to the Secretariat; and ballast water exchange. |
