Abstract:A description is given of a new genus, Edentoliparis gen. n., which differs from Paraliparis in the total absence of jaw teeth and pharyngeal teeth and in the different arrangement of the radials of the pectoral girdle (1+0+0+1=2). The only species of this genus, E. terraenovae from the Weddell Sea, is redescribed on the basis of new information. (Auth. mod.)
